Mercedes-Benz SLC sports coupe has been working on by the German carmaker. Rumors have been circulating the internet regarding all sorts of things about the unborn baby-SLS. So, what are the buzzers about? Well, from the arrival date of the Mercedes-Benz SLC sports coupe to the name of the car which will reportedly be “SLC” and we have some more spices to add to the ever-growing rumors.
Auto Bild states that the Mercedes-Benz SLC sports coupe actually be a sports car to challenge the Porsche 911. But wait, there’s more! In order to take on the mighty Porsche, Mercedes-Benz will provide the two-seater not with the usual big V8 engine, but with a V6 twin-turbocharged unit which developing between 350 horsepower and 500 horsepower, depending on the variant.
Unlike the Porsche 911 which uses a rear-engined configuration, the Mercedes-Benz SLC sports coupe will faithfully use what it knows best and provide it a front mid-mounted unit.
