Picture of the Day: Crashed Lamborghini Gallardo

Lamborghini Gallardo Before and After

The pictures tell thousands words as you can see for yourself that the white Lamborghini Gallardo supercar was in a bit of wreck during a test drive. Yup… it’s not careless driver, but maybe not-so-fortunate driver.

Before you mix everything up, the reason behind crashing Lamborghini Gallardo was started when a promising customer set his eyes on this white supercar. You know what happen when you have the money and the privilege to buy this kind of supercar?  Test drive, that is. So, this eager and hyper customer took the Gallardo for quick spin.

The salesman was escorted the promising buyer to feel the menacing power of the Lamborghini Gallardo. After sometimes, the customer might be feeling that it’s time to take the supercar for the next level, so he did. He did get panicked for a while and crashed the six-figures supercar on a roadside barrier.

The damage is pretty much severe as you can see on the photo as the part of the front-end of the Lamborghini Gallardo supercar and the right wheel disintegrated from its axle. Lamborghini Sydney Managing Director – Andrew Smith stated, “It appears he panicked – these things happen, “It doesn’t matter as long as no one was doing anything stupid or crazy, and no one was injured.”

We never been to Lamborghini store before, does it have signs like “You Crash It  – You Buy It?” Hopefully after this incident, the store will put sign like that so no other Gallardo will be victim of eager and hyper promising buyers.

Chris Brown's Lamborghini Gallardo - front view

Lamborghini Gallardo and other state-of-the art cars such Cadillac have been the most-have cars for Hollywood. Only few celebrities who are pampering their rides just like Paris Hilton pampered her itsy bitsy dog. Just when we strolled around the street of Hollywood, our eyes were set on a Lamborghini Gallardo that has been dressed like a fighter jet. So, we got our camera ready, pose like one of those paparazzi that had been scooping the Lamborghini Gallardo supercar in very respective distance. Seriously, we were curious to find out who was the owner of the fighter jet Lamborghini Gallardo supercar.

After the for sometimes, it all paid off as one of US multi-platinum rappers Chris Brown stepped inside of the fighter jet Lamborghini Gallardo supercar. It seems like the former boyfriend of Rihanna has set the bar for customizing the Lamborghini Gallardo supercar. Let’s put it this way: if you own Lamborghini Gallardo, to customize or to upgrade this particular supercar means you have to find the right aspect.

Chris Brown's Lamborghini Gallardo

Obviously, there is only one thing you can do if you want to play with your Lamborghini Gallardo supercar: customize the exterior look. And that’s about it. Period. We pretty sure Chris Brown aware that there is no use to improve the performance system on the Lamborghini Gallardo supercar, so the rapper targeted the bodywork.

The candy-color for Lamborghini Gallardo supercar definitely does not match Chris Brown’s style. That is why he chose to put F-86 Sabre transonic fighter jet into the Lamborghini Gallardo supercar. If you curious why in the world Chris Brown chose his Lamborghini Gallardo supercar to be like fighter jet, well, the feeling is mutual. We contacted some of our colleagues to get some information about Chris Brown’s wildest dream or hidden desire.

Sadly, our detective instinct led us point blank. The only reason we can connect between Chris Brown with his fighter jet Lamborghini Gallardo supercar is that maybe – just maybe, you know how we good at giving predictions, right? – before recording some hit singles, Chris Brown wanted to serve at the US Air Force. Well, if you can’t be a pilot, just dress up your car like a fighter jet and ride with it. Just like what Chris Brown did with his Lamborghini Gallardo supercar.

Lamborghini Gallardo Caught in Flame

Blue Lamborghini Gallardo on Fire

What would you do if your expensive Lamborghini Gallardo supercar caught in flame? Well, we found out one driver who probably will live his entire memory for toasting his £150,000 Lamborghini Gallardo supercar. The anonymous driver was enjoying a Saturday afternoon, driving his Lamborghini Gallardo supercar with so much pride through the spectacular landscape of the Scottish Highlands. But his drive came to an abrupt halt when smoke started pouring from the engine bay of his blue supercar.

The driver pulled over near a hospital in Fort William and rushed inside to get a fire extinguisher. By the time he came back his Lamborghini Gallardo supercar was like a torch. The only thing left was to “enjoy the show” which we have to mention ended in shortly, reducing the Lamborghini Gallardo supercar to a pile of burned wrecks. Must be devastating to just stood and watched his beloved and pricey Lamborghini Gallardo supercar burnt down in seconds by flame.

Blue Lamborghini Gallardo Caught Fire

Within two minutes, there was a lick of flames and within five minutes the Lamborghini Gallardo supercar was totally ablaze. The owner just stood by holding his head in his hands. I’ve heard of money to burn but this was ridiculous. It was £150,000(approx. $246000) worth of hand- made art and just went up in flames.” Robbie Jordan was quoted as reported by our UK contributor.

This is the second incident which involves a Lamborghini Gallardo supercar bursting into flames without any apparent cause, after a similar model caught fire while being test-driven by a Norwegian rap star. Probably this is what happens when you take the word “going to burn some rubber” literally. Without a doubt this is not something to joke about, considering that unfortunate events of Lamborghini Gallardo supercar caught on flame seem to appear more often lately.

Exotic Cars Swimming in the Singapore Garage

Flood on Singapore Garage

Excotic cars are both do not mix with water, but what most people are thinking about is the loss of traction. But when the water is up to the door sills, you know you have a major problem. It pains us to report that a number of cars we really love have been damaged in a flash flood which hit a shopping, entertainment and high-end living area in Singapore.

The water managed to flood the local St. Regis Residence, where people with a lot of cash and of course – the exotic cars – in their pocket and keys to some of the most exciting cars out there live. Exotic cars like the Ferrari 458 Italia and Lamborghini Gallardo are now swimming in a deep puddle of water, so deep as to make the Italian bull looks like a green toad.

On the photo, you can spotted a Lamborghini Gallardo as one of the exotic cars, alongside with Ferrari 458 Italia, Rolls-Royce Ghost, a handful of BMW’s and Audi’s, as Aston Martin V12 Vantage, a Maserati Gran Turismo and a Porsche GT5 RS.

Exotic cars will probably be fine as long as they don’t open the doors or use the remote engine start system. Just trailer them to the garage for an quick fix and they should run as good as new, but if we owned those exotic cars, we just could not help but feel that they were tarnished. The only ray of light in the whole mess of the exotic cars is that Mercedes-Benz G-Klasse which sits pretty with just its tires in the water. Here is a rough estimated value of the exotic cars on the brand new Singaporean market and bring the grand total of damage to SG$5,800,000 or about $4,140,000:

  • Lamborghini Gallardo – SG$1,000,000
  • Ferrari 458 Italia – SG$900,000
  • Rolls-Royce Phantom – SG$1,400,000
  • Aston Martin DB9 – SG$700,000
  • Audi R8 – SG$700,000
  • Maserati Gran Turismo – SG$500,000
  • Porsche GT3 RS – SG$600,000
