Have you seen the latest Porsche Pajun? No? Neither does us. At least not yet because the rumor on the internet has been buzzing that the German automaker is now working on the four-door sedan. Just so you know the Pajun project is not the only project Porsche is working on as Porsche is still busy with the baby Cayenne project that probably will be sold as a two-door car.
The rumor on the internet does not literally mention “Porsche Pajun”, but more like “baby Panamera” project or also refer as “Panamera Junior”. So, what will be the platform for the Pajun? Which powerplant is suitable for this four-door sedan?
We get it, we are as curious as you when it comes to Porsche Pajun. But hear this; the Pajun four-door sedan will be based on the MSB modular architecture and available in both AWD and RWD variants. Apparently, the FWD is a big no-no for the Pajun, eh? It doesn’t work that way, but we know that Porsche really adores the AWD and RWD; also those systems are capable to handle the massive power of Porsche.
The engine choices for the Porsche Pajun four-door sedan might be the new modular gasoline of V6 and V8. It seems like the Pajun will be sharing the same powerplant with Cajun. A further possible detail on the V6 is the turbocharging and direct injection features that will be in the form of 3.0L to 3.6L. Okay, is it just us, or you think that choice of engine ranges remind you on Audi?
The V6 powerplant of the Porsche Pajun will be able to deliver 400 to 500 horsepower. As for the V8, might be coming in 4.0L twin-turbocharged with 600 horsepower. Again, these do sound like Audi, don’t you think? One more thing, we can also hoping the Pajun four-door sedan will be powered by diesel and hybrid versions. That is about the Pajun project and we really hope Porsche will be kind enough to share us the teaser image later.
