Rumor: Porsche Pajun Ready in 2016?

Porsche Pajun

Have you seen the latest Porsche Pajun? No? Neither does us. At least not yet because the rumor on the internet has been buzzing that the German automaker is now working on the four-door sedan. Just so you know the Pajun project is not the only project Porsche is working on as Porsche is still busy with the baby Cayenne project that probably will be sold as a two-door car.

The rumor on the internet does not literally mention “Porsche Pajun”, but more like “baby Panamera” project or also refer as “Panamera Junior”. So, what will be the platform for the Pajun? Which powerplant is suitable for this four-door sedan?

We get it, we are as curious as you when it comes to Porsche Pajun. But hear this; the Pajun four-door sedan will be based on the MSB modular architecture and available in both AWD and RWD variants. Apparently, the FWD is a big no-no for the Pajun, eh? It doesn’t work that way, but we know that Porsche really adores the AWD and RWD; also those systems are capable to handle the massive power of Porsche.

The engine choices for the Porsche Pajun four-door sedan might be the new modular gasoline of V6 and V8. It seems like the Pajun will be sharing the same powerplant with Cajun. A further possible detail on the V6 is the turbocharging and direct injection features that will be in the form of 3.0L to 3.6L. Okay, is it just us, or you think that choice of engine ranges remind you on Audi?

The V6 powerplant of the Porsche Pajun will be able to deliver 400 to 500 horsepower. As for the V8, might be coming in 4.0L twin-turbocharged with 600 horsepower. Again, these do sound like Audi, don’t you think? One more thing, we can also hoping the Pajun four-door sedan will be powered by diesel and hybrid versions. That is about the Pajun project and we really hope Porsche will be kind enough to share us the teaser image later.

Promotional Video of 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse

2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse

The German auto manufacturer just dropped promotional video for their 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback. This soccer moms car has just got its world revealed couple of days ago and the three-pointed carmaker is confident that the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse can compete with other hatchback vehicles. Funny thing is, there is one thing that crosses our mind when we found out the promotional video: can the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback compete with the upcoming Porsche Cayenne?

So, what does the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback offer to soccer moms who are willing to buy this car? First of all, there is nothing wrong with the look of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback on the road, but we are kind of missing the “Mercedes-Benz” aura on this particular hatchback that we pretty sure that the soccer moms would not bother to notice it.

Anyway, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback carries numbers of upgrades such as direct injection and turbocharging, a new diesel engine, a new dual clutch transmission, a new manual transmission, new assistance systems, and of course… A new price tag which not yet shared by the German car maker.

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback petrol engines arrive with a 1.6-L displacement that carries 122 horsepower with 200Nm of torque for the B 180; while the B 200 brings 156 horsepower with 250Nm of torque. For the new four-cylinder diesel engines of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback is the B 180 CDI that produces 109 horsepower with 250Nm of torque and B 200 CDI with 136 horsepower and 300Nm of torque.

Thomas Weber, Member of the Board of Management responsible for Group Research and Head of Development of Mercedes-Benz Cars has this to say about the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse hatchback, “No model change in the history of Mercedes-Benz has ever seen so many new developments introduced in one fell swoop.”

The safety standard for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback includes radar-based collision warning system with adaptive Brake Assist. This particular system is intended to lower the risk of rear-end collisions which is the first system installed on this segment. The German automaker also equips the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback with PRE-SAFE preventive occupant protection system which again, the first time available on this vehicle category. 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid Comes to US in 2014

2012 Audi A6

The 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid four-door sedan was expected to be released by the end of this year but it seems we have to postpone the welcoming party. As a matter of fact, the new 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid won’t arrive in Europe until somewhere in mid 2012, and more odd is that U.S market will have to wait even longer for the new “eco-A6”, as a matter of fact it will hit the American soil in 2014. The 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid four-door sedan is expected that it would probably be a best seller, especially if the fuel prices keep on rising, as reported by our British contributor.

The 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid four-door sedan will receive the technological setup from the Q5 Hybrid, that means the A6 Hybrid will receive a 2.0-liter TFSI engine that puts out 208bhp and a 33kW electric motor which will add a plus of 44bhp. The “green-tech” features give the A6 Hybrid a 0-60 acceleration of about 7.3 seconds and economy of 44.1mpg with emissions of 146g/Km of CO2.

The 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid four-door sedan is predicted to have a pretty high price for a modest A6, but if you are an “eco-minded” consumer the price of about .$65.000 is not that much to ask in order to save the planet. But Audi also offers a more convenient alternative for the 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid four-door sedan like the 3.0 TDi quattro A6, that will put out 243bhp and will do 0-60mph in 7.0 seconds with an average of 55mpg. Also worth mentioning the fact that it has higher emissions but it probable set you back with about $8.000 less than the hybrid.

But as we all know America is not such a big fan of diesel engines, so it is expected that the No.1 spot will be still occupied by the 3.0 TFSI Quattro, not the 2012 Audi A6 Hybrid four-door sedan.
