A Sports car that has two doors and 4 seats can even be driven at speeds of 198 mph. Having said that, what makes Michael Jordan’s car much more special is the fact that The Bentley Continental GT Coupe influenced the creation of Nike Air Jordan 21 shoes that sold in 2006. In addition, the car had ultimately only 12 thousand miles. Can you imagine that the Audi TT will be having its entry-level segment or in our term affordable car? No need to imagining as the UK division of Audi has officially announced the new model year for the TT will be offering an affordable version that is powered by 1.8L turbocharged TFSI petrol engine in the form of coupe. Wait… an affordable TT model in coupe version? That is one bold step makes by Audi, don’t you think? So, how affordable will be the TT coupe?

The Audi TT coupe might cost around £24,070 and with that amount of money, you can get power output around 160 horsepower. Not bad, right? Especially if you remember that the engine is already equips with turbocharged. The customers have the privilege to choose between the 6-speed manual transmission as standard option or the double-clutch S-Tronic transmission as the optional feature. There will be two models of the TT coupe namely the Sport and S line.

Taking the manual transmission Audi TT for sprint and you will hit 0 to 62 mph in 7.2 seconds with top speed reaches at 140 mph (225 km/h). As for the S-Tronic model, going 0 to 62 mph can be completed in 7.1 seconds and giving the same top speed. One thing we almost forget to tell you, the manual transmission and S-Tronic model are in FWD a.k.a the front-wheel-drive. You know what those figures remind us? A Volkswagen Golf. Could it be that the affordable TT coupe is the revised edition of VW Golf since the vehicle carries 211 horsepower and can reach the sprint at the exact same time?

Eibach stated that the reason why they chose to play with Audi A1 is because they want to give the coupe hatchback a balanced modification project that has major attention on the tech side of the car. In order to be able to reach that goal, Eibach asked the help from Bilstein and Bilstein is happy to offer their new B12 Pro-Kit.  That kit makes the A1 closer to the road by 40mm but drivers can adjust them from the dampers.

Notice that awesome tires? The Audi A1 gets Borbet XA wheels in 18×8 size with a multi-spoke design and placed on 12mm Eibach spacers. It’s not complete if customizing A1 without even tweaking the engine a little bit, right? The ordinary engine for the A1 is the 1.4L TSI turbocharged that able to offer 122 horsepower and after upgraded, its able to deliver 157 horsepower. To complete the performance system, Eibach mounted a Remus exhaust system for the A1 that uses 84mm tailpipes and of course, a remap ECU.

The arrival of the 2012 Bentley Continental GT2 coupe has been officially confirmed by the Bentley CEO Durheimer. He stated that the two-door (which means its in coupe form, right?) version of GT2 Continental will be ready next year.

It’s not the coupe form that excites us, but the total power output for 2012 Bentley Continental GT2 that might be able to reach up to 650 horsepower. Question: which type of engine that can offer that kind of power – the W12 or the V8? Come on… a 5th grader that addicted watching automotive TV series is smarter than you. Frankly speaking, both W12 and V8 are able to create 650 horsepower; but we think the W12 is more fitted with the overall look of 2012 Continental GT2 coupe.

The 2012 Bentley Continental GT2 will not only carry massive power under its hood, but the coupe will be having a strict diet in order to reach certain weight level. The total weight loss needs to be shed by the 2012 Continental GT2 is around 200 kg (400 lbs) from the current weight 2,200 kg (4,400 lbs). Sounds familiar? Honestly, the weight loss program for the GT2 is similar with what the Porsche 911 GT3 RS has. Guess we have to credit the Bentley engineers to be able to pull that off.

Back to engine, the 2012 Bentley Continental GT2 coupe is intended to be a track-focused version vehicle. It means that the GT2 has the ability to go sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) less than four seconds.

Bentley CEO – Durheimer has this to say about the arrival of 2012 Bentley Continental GT2 coupe, “I definitely think there is room for a car with more power than the Supersport. I also think some of what we did with the Supersport in the past wasn’t quite right. For example, it should not be a two-seater. That layout should be reserved for the top-line cars.”
