BMW VED was seen in the Mission Impossible 4 filming

BMW VED (Vision Efficient Dynamics) concept was seen in the filming of Mission Impossible 4 in Mumbai, India. A photographer from TeamBHp took a photo of the concept car during the the filming of traffic jam scene.

Unfortunately, the photographer cannot freely take pictures of BMW Ved, because the concept car is kept nearly 10 bouncers. Even, one of the bouncers managed to seize the camera of TeamBHP photographers and threatened to take his camera.

Most likely, the BMW VED will be an Ethan Hunt’s car ride, Mission Impossible 4 main character played by Tom Cruise. In addition to the concept car, it is also seen a 2012 BMW 6-Series Convertible.

BMW did not provide any information related to this issue. They also do not explain when BMW VED will be manufactured and launched. However, if the concept car has been seen in public, seems the production of this car is only a matter of time.

Is it true Porsche will create a new concept car?

Porsche wanted to continue to compete with its rivals such as McLaren, Ferrari, and Lamborghini. To that end, Porsche tried to create a new concept car with mid engine. The problem, the project is still just a discourse, because, Volkswagen, the parent company has not granted permission.

If the project is to be executed, then the concept car will be sold at a cheap and produced by a finite number. This car seems to be a combination of the Porsche 918 Spyder and 911. The engineers at Porsche have designed the car. But according to Mathias Muller, Porsche boss, if the project was not approved because of the possibility of financial factors.

A little leak from the Porsche, these cars will use CFRP as its main materials. Of course, the use of CFRP is to reduce the weight of the concept car. Moreover, Porsche has often created the light cars, such as 911 GT2 RS and Carrera GT.

VW Bulli became the focus of Volkswagen’s main production

Looks like we will increasingly see a lot of VW Bulli which is will pack the streets of major cities. Because, the CEO of Volkswagen of America, Jonathan Browning, said that the production of VW Bulli is his main focus.

VW Bulli combines the 1950 VW transporter and 2001 and will use the Microbus concept. VW Bulli was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March. However, compared to its predecessor, this concept car a little smaller, thus expected to compete with the Kia Soul, Scion xB and Nissan Cube. In addition, the production of VW Bulli also will not interfere with sales of VW’s Chrysler-sourced Routan minivan. However, it will attract new customers who infatuated with the VW Bus.

Browning asserts that VW Bulli Volkswagen will maintain the image that Volkswagen is always follows the development of the era. VW Bulli will use an 85 KW electric motor, which can generate maximum speed of 87 mph and stay within a distance of 186 miles. However, the use of gas or turbodiesel engine will be much more acceptable by the market at the present time.

Nevertheless VW Bulli has attracted the interest of many groups. And its look like Browning’s decision to focus on the production of this concept car is very appropriate. Especially, if Volkswagen is want to achieve greater market share in the future.

Bentley plans to revive the long suspended Turbo R

The arrival of Mr. Wolfgang Duerheimer as the new leader of the Bentley and Bugatti provide a cool breeze to the company. After previously giving the green light to manufacture Bugatti Galibier, this time Mr. Duerheimer seems also will stir up the Bentley’s crew with new product creation, Bentley Turbo R. This concept car certainly will be very fast, but a little expensive when compared with the 2011 Bentley Continental GT.

For Bentley, Turbo R is not a new model; they produced it in 1985. However, the production was stopped since 1994. Formerly, Bentley Turbo R is a version of Turbo Mulsanne which is made stronger. However, since the arrival of Mike Dunn as chief engineer, the Bentley Turbo R was also experiencing development. Mr. Dunn had a design change with the addition of Enlarged antiroll bars, a Panhard rod, and self-leveling rear suspension.

The newest Bentley Turbo R will be using V8 turbocharged engine in which the driver can reach speeds of 60 km in just 6.7 seconds. The speed is almost close to the supercar speed acceleration. This concept car is likely to be coupe -based car, the same as the all-new Mulsanne model. Bentley Turbo R was also expected to get close to Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe.

We do not yet know how much this newest Bentley Turbo R later on. Apparently, the price offered little more expensive. However, with the promised performance of this concept car, the price did not seem like a major problem. We will wait and see in 2014, the year when the car is planned to be marketed.
