Bentley Mulsanne has been known as luxury car. Ask the guys over the Bentley about the interior space, safety and stance of the vehicles they produce and tell you that you are dealing with the best in the business. However, it seems like Russians beg to differ. And what is the meaning of that?

It is simple and interesting! Russian car armor specialist – ArmorTech Motors Group – has created a stretched version of the Bentley Mulsanne luxury limousine, also offering armored incarnation of the custom.

The customers who have mercy on their chauffeurs can also opt for an entry-level stretch on the Bentley Mulsanne luxury limousine by ArmorTech (if we can refer it this way), which will bring 500 mm (20 inches) of length to the luxury game.

Spyshot 2012 Bentley Continental GTC - front view

2012 Bentley Continental GTC coupe sport sedan spotted to do lap test. Bentley gave the 2011 Bentley Continental GT a thorough going over to ensure it still appeals to Arab oil tycoons with a taste for large diamonds. This was the biggest change since the model was introduced back in 2003, so we expected the drop-top 2012 Bentley Continental GTC coupe sport sedan model to also get some new jewelry and a crease here and there.

It seems we were right, as the facelift 2012 Bentley Continental GTC coupe sport sedan made it silver presence felt at the Nurburgring test track. The two-door sports model showed new panels, a more inspired by the Bentley Mulsanne, featuring inner lamps powered by xenon on low beam and LED on high beam. The seam at the headlights has been lowered to the height of the air intakes, giving the 2012 Bentley Continental GTC coupe sport sedan a more refined look.

Welcome Back, Bentley Turbo R

2011 Bentley Mulsanne

What do we miss from the Bentley’s production line-up?  We give you a hint; it has not been available in the British market sales for 10 years. Before decided to announce the comeback of the Turbo R, Bentley was suspended the release of the Turbo R due to financial problem. Now that Bentley has got its financial support, they are ready to reintroduce the Turbo R.

One of the British car manufacturers – Bentley leaked that the Turbo R is coming back when the Bentley Mulsanne was in released to the market. If we trace the history if Turbo R, the first production was built between 1985 and 1994 and it had the Mulsanne Turbo models as a starting point. The car featured Rolls-Royce V8 engine which delivered approximately 350 horsepower and a suspension setup to match the power.

At this moment, no official confirmation from Bentley brand regarding the comeback of the Turbo R, but if they do and will start the car, it seems like it will borrow Bentley Mulsanne’s 6.75-liter V8 engine which can give 510 horsepower. The maximum power of the Turbo R perhaps will more than 600 horsepower and the launching date could be 2013.

The new Bentley might be a coupe version of the Mulsanne which means it will have the same front as the limousine with the big headlights and signature grille. That would be our prediction, other than that, the Turbo R will be totally different with a rear end coupe look, probably something similar to Bentley Brooklands.

Starting 2015, Bentley believed to introduce a series of new models on the market and all of them might have a lot of technical elements borrowed from Porsche. One model that Bentley could put on the market might be a Continental GT sharing platform five doors coupe with a price tag of €170,000 (£150,000). Rumor has it that the platform for the model is going to be the next generation of Porsche Panamera. Bentley could even build an all-wheel-drive SUV crossover and a coupe to go against the Maserati Grand Turismo.

Well, the Bentley Turbo R might be launched in 2013, but we have been waiting for 10 years to say, “Welcome Back, Bentley Turbo R”.
