You have seen the spyshots of the 2014 BMW M3, right? All the camouflage sheet all over the body makes us imagining how the sedan look like. Well, thanks to the Facebook page of the Wild-Speed, we know how the 2014 M3 will look like.

The entry level for the 2014 BMW  M3 sedan is in the form of 361i with 136 horsepower and powered by the same engine as the 1-Series which is the 1.6L; then the 320i that has the same engine and able to give power up to 184 horsepower. Last but not least, the 328i with the new 2.0L engine that offers 245 horsepower.

The diesel engine for the 2014 M3 sedan again shares the same powerplant with 1-Series. The 316d produces 114 horsepower while the 318d gives 141 horsepower. We predict that the 320d will be the best-selling sedan because it offers 181 horsepower. If you are looking for more power, your choice will be the 323d with 200+ horsepower under its hood.

To complete the line-up, the 2014 BMW M3 sedan will be available in ActiveHybrid 3. The hybrid version of 3-Series will be powered by the same 3.0L engine on the 335i with the electric motor gives total output 340 horsepower.

Judging by the burbling sound right from the exhaust, the 2014 BMW M3 sedan prototype might be using V6. When its comes to M3, it’s never about the ordinary V6, folks. We bet that the 2014 M3 sedan has V6 with turbo boost. Yes, we agree… the engine does sound savage, like it can tear off your clothes just to step on the throttle pedal.

 Move to the back, and we spotted that the 2014 BMW M3 sedan has couple of mid-pipes running symmetrically to the mufflers. That mid-pipes strengthen our believe that the prototype has turbocharge V6 under its hood.

The engine sound also hinted us that the shifts on the 2014 BMW M3 sedan are did effortlessly through the gear points the finger. Would like to help us, what kind of transmission the 2014 M3 has? Yup.. it’s none other than the DCT transmission and we pretty much sure that the manual will be also offered. Are these pictures belong to 2014 BMW M3 sedan? Yes, they are. We are as surprise as you are, folks; but the spyshots never lie. The rumor about the Bavarian carmaker about to drop vehicle in the form of sedan has been buzzing around as we spotted some spyshots on other models too.

As the M4 four-door coupe on its way, it means that the Bavarian auto manufacturer has no choice but to send the 2014 M3 sedan prototype for test drive. The very early test drive can also mean that BMW has lots of upgrades before releasing the teaser for use. Usually like that, right? Okay then, what does the 2014 BMW M3 sedan has to compete other competitors?

First of all, from the spyshot photos, the 2014 M3 sedan doesn’t carry the muscular bulge look on the bonnet. That could lead into one thing, and do you know what it means? It means that there is possibility that the 2014 BMW M3 sedan powered by V8 in the current generation, or using the V6 is also possible, right?

The 2014 BMW M3 sedan might be running on V8 or V6, and yet we still don’t know whether those engines will be in twin-turbo or tri-turbo with extra one being powered by an electricity, not exhaust gasses? Wait… 2014 M3 sedan might be arriving in hybrid? Interesting… since we spotted the same hybrid BMW took test drive couple of days ago.

On the cosmetic parts, the 2014 BMW M3 sedan has bulging fenders which are very visible at the back where we also noticed that the track has been widened. If you take a look on the front fascia, its more aggressive as it features bigger air intakes and LED fog lights. Yes… the heavy camouflage sheet all over the body of 2014 M3 sedan can’t hide those unique signature of Bavarian headlights. Can’t wait to see this sedan in flesh? The arrival is scheduled late part of 2013.
