The German auto manufacturer just dropped promotional video for their 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback. This soccer moms car has just got its world revealed couple of days ago and the three-pointed carmaker is confident that the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse can compete with other hatchback vehicles. Funny thing is, there is one thing that crosses our mind when we found out the promotional video: can the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback compete with the upcoming Porsche Cayenne?
So, what does the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback offer to soccer moms who are willing to buy this car? First of all, there is nothing wrong with the look of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback on the road, but we are kind of missing the “Mercedes-Benz” aura on this particular hatchback that we pretty sure that the soccer moms would not bother to notice it.

For the new four-cylinder diesel engines of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback is the B 180 CDI that produces 109 horsepower with 250Nm of torque and B 200 CDI with 136 horsepower and 300Nm of torque.

The safety standard for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback includes radar-based collision warning system with adaptive Brake Assist. This particular system is intended to lower the risk of rear-end collisions which is the first system installed on this segment. The German automaker also equips the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Klasse four-door hatchback with PRE-SAFE preventive occupant protection system which again, the first time available on this vehicle category.
