As some of us still recalling about the New Years’ party, the three-pointed German automaker has not wasted anytime because look what we have here folks- series of spyshots of 2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class. Not just ordinary spyshots but spyshots that revealed less camouflage sheets on the German hatchback. And it gets better as we got not one, but two prototypes of 2012 A-Class hatchback.

Autoevolution.com wrote that the design language of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class has been changed and extremely complex. The less camouflage sheet not only revealed some parts of the hatchback, but also sends message that what we are witnessing is an entry-level model for Mercedes-Benz. Don’t be fooled by the phrase “entry-level” because when it comes to Mercedes, the entry-level means less expensive price without exclusivity and luxury.

On the engine and performance, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class could be borrowing the engine choices from the new B-Class. The options are 5 petrol powerplants with total power output between 109 and 204 horsepower. Other engine choices are the 4 units of oil burners with total power output around 122 and 204 horsepower.

Mercedes-Benz wants the 2012 A-Class not to be just ordinary hatchback because the compact vehicle will get AMG version as well. It means that we are looking at the choices of 2.0L four-pot turbocharged unit that goes 325 horsepower. We don’t know if the 2012 Mercedes-Benz A-Class will be using dual clutch transmission or not. For the interior part, the three-pointed German automaker could be carried some elements from B-Class.

  1. My pal includes a 1993 Mercedes Benz 300E using the 2.8L engine and also the passenger window motor quit working so i have been looking to get that fixed but obtaining the part is difficult. And today the motive force side window motor went or it is the switch i’ll know friday but I have to understand how to test a window motor having a volt meter because i am gonna visit the junkyard and obtain alternative motors. So please let me know how you can test an electric motor and so i determine if the main one i’m going to be getting is not junk
