Tuning Series: Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera in Matte Orange
Why the orange matte color on Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is not surprise us? Well, the first reason is because the Italian Raging Bull company has offered the supercar in orange color, but guess that is not “orange” enough for some Gallardo Superleggera fans, right? The second reason is because the matte orange color has been one of the popular custom colors so dressing the Italian supercar in more attractive orange color will definitely makes the Superleggera standout from other supercars.
So, what else that makes the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera in matte orange stands out? Autoevolution.com wrote that besides the custom color, the Italian supercar stills carries the same engine specs that obviously will blow your mind. Just so you know the Gallardo Superleggera supercar has tow engine options: 5.0 and 5.2L V10. The transmission is available in six-speed manual and six-speed single-clutch of electro-hydraulic manual transmission.
Let’s check out what the original colors that the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera has, shall we? The Italian Raging Bull company offers 4 original colors: Telesto Gray, Midas Yellow, Noctis Black, and Borealis Orange. The last one – Borealis Orange – seems to be not “orange enough” so it is very understandable that the die-hard fans decided to take the customization to the next level. The first production was in March 2008 with total 172 units already produced: 10 units in white, 45 units in yellow, 34 units in grey, 46 units in orange, and 37 units in black.
