We shared you the spyshots and now we bring you the sound of the 2014 BMW M3 sedan. Well, not literally, we scooped it from the video courtesy of Bimmerpost.com. We can’t thank you enough for Bimmerpost.com as they did awesome job by tailgating and the best part of it, recorded the 2014 M3 sedan while strolling on the street.
The video truly revealed the sound and closer look of the heavy camouflage 2014 BMW M3 sedan. Now, after watching the video, what do you think about the power train? Can you give us your best shot on what type of engine used by the 2014 M3 sedan prototype? Come on… You can do it…
Judging by the burbling sound right from the exhaust, the 2014 BMW M3 sedan prototype might be using V6. When its comes to M3, it’s never about the ordinary V6, folks. We bet that the 2014 M3 sedan has V6 with turbo boost. Yes, we agree… the engine does sound savage, like it can tear off your clothes just to step on the throttle pedal.
Move to the back, and we spotted that the 2014 BMW M3 sedan has couple of mid-pipes running symmetrically to the mufflers. That mid-pipes strengthen our believe that the prototype has turbocharge V6 under its hood.
The engine sound also hinted us that the shifts on the 2014 BMW M3 sedan are did effortlessly through the gear points the finger. Would like to help us, what kind of transmission the 2014 M3 has? Yup.. it’s none other than the DCT transmission and we pretty much sure that the manual will be also offered. We just hope that the development on the upcoming 2014 BMW M3 sedan could be fastened a bit, as we just can’t wait to see it in the production form.
