The German luxury four-door saloon ahs officially turning into US citizen as the Bavarian carmaker announced the official US pricing for the 2013 BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe. BMW knows that the Uncle Sam’s soil has more than potential market for them because there are many exclusive sites and celebrities which share the same vision of luxury with the German carmaker. The 2013 6-Series Gran Coupe is the first ever four-door version of the 6-series which intended for the mass market as the previous models are holding down the term limited in very tight way.

The basic price tag for the 2013 BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe will be the 640i Grand Coupe which costs $76,895. With that amount of price, the US customers are getting the 3.0L turbocharged V6 gasoline engine with total power output at 315 horsepower. The Bavarian carmaker claims that the US price is seems reasonably fir such a revolutionary car. But not according to automotive mass media.

Autoevolution.com reported that the US pricing for the 2013 6-Series Gran Coupe four-door saloon is $3,000 more expensive than the 640 Coupe. There is more as the closest rival for this Bavarian luxury vehicle is the Mercedes-Benz CLS which available for sale at $72,000 with V8 powerplant. Let’s not forget about the local contender where the US has Chrysler 300C which powered by the muscular SRT8 V8.
