The 2010 Audi A5 Sportback is a fusion between the sport and hatchback version. It seems like Audi is trying to create a sporty hatchback vehicle. We all aware that hatchback vehicles are not that sporty, but more like family-oriented.

Audi spoils the European market with six engine variants of 2012 Audi A5 Sportback which split fairly between gas and diesel units, and all engines equipped with direct injection. Like the Audi A4, the 2.0-liter TFSI engine comes in 180 and 211 horsepowers, along with a choice of Audi’s 3.2-liter V6.
On the compression ignition side of 2012 Audi A5 Sportback, a 2.0-liter inline-four, 2.7-liter V6 and 3.0-liter V6 units will be available, with the 170 horsepower 2.0-liter TDI rated 45.2mpg (for US market sales) on the UE combined cycle. The four cylinder engines all get automatic start-stop systems and the top gasoline- and diesel-powered V6s get the needed Quattro all wheel drive.
