Well, Singer Vehicle Design tuning house has new way to say that, “The old car still has what it takes to steal the show”.

Just so you know, the Singer Vehicle Design is tuning house that focuses their work on restoring ad upgrading classic Porsche models on their headquarter in LA. Explains that the LA hot weather is the perfect showcase place for the Porsche 911 964 sportscar, right? We should thank Singer Vehicle Design for putting the customization on classic Porsche one step further.

The Porsche 911 964 by Singer Vehicle Design equips with special body kit “Singer Racing Silver”. The interior is covered with a Ruby Red color palette. Perfect combination with the silver body kit, don’t you think? If you think that Singer Vehicle Design only targets the cosmetic area, you are far from correct as the American classic Porsche restorer also tweak the engine and performance.

The Porsche 911 964 classic sportscar is available in three engine options: a 3.6L Touring engine that produces 304 horsepower; a 3.9L Sport engine that delivers 360 ponies; and 4.0L Cup engine that provides up to 400 horsepower. Singer Vehicle Design only restores Porsche vehicles on order and what you see here is the 4th project which presented at the Notion Studio in downtown LA.

Before you get excited and run all over the room, please notice that what you see is the rendering image of Bugatti Veyron Ettore. Yes, it is very unusual name, but this is what happen when Bugatti decided to hold on the next-gen of the luxury supercar. Should we blame the Bugatti CEO Wolfgang Durheimer for this? Probably like this, but let’s see the positive side of this delayed project, shall we?

The rendering image of Bugatti Veyron Ettore concept was proposed by designer Tamas Jakus. The naming for this supposed  to-be successor of Veyron luxury supercar is inspired by Ettore Arco Isidoro Bugatti who is the founder of the Bugatti automaker company. So, what is the Veyron Ettore concept exactly? A luxury supercar, or luxury saloon supercar?

We can’t describe as saloon as the rendering image on the Bugatti Veyron Ettore concept is more like “ordinary” luxury supercar. Tamas Jakus also created the convertible model as well besides the coupe. According to autoevolution.com, the Veyron Ettore concept carries a lighter, sleeker, and more supercar-oriented if we compare it to the basic model of Veyron.

What about the engine? Unfortunately, Tamas Jakus  only working on the overall design, not the engine. But we predict, if Bugatti Veyron Ettore concept does exist, it would be powered by none other than the W12 engine, just like the usual powerplant on the Bugatti line-up models.

Well folks, for your information, Wimmer RS is one top of the line German aftermarket specialists and they recently played around with the C63 AMG four-door sportscar. What have the Wimmer RS done to the full-powered German four-door sedan that carries hidden abilities of sportscar?

Wimmer RS presents the modification package for the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and successfully turning the German sportscar into one not so threatening green blue monster. The German aftermarket developer is targeting the cosmetic and engine alongside with the performance. Let’s start with engine, shall we?

The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG has been granted by Wimmer RS with 6.2L naturally-aspirated V8 powerplant that able to unleash 601 horsepower and amount of torque around 720 Nm. Just so you know the stock engine for the C63 AMG four-door sportscar delivers 480 ponies and 600 Nm of torque. So, let’s put it this way: with a bit of magic dust from Wimmer RS, and voila… the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG has new engine and new threaten power that scares off their sportscar rivals.

Okay, enough with the engine part, and time to see what the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG has to impress the crowd on the upcoming Essen Motor Show. Oh, we forgot to mention that the idea of customizing the four-door sportscar is to be presented at aforementioned auto event. You think that Wimmer RS has done a great job to attract more attendants?

On the cosmetic part, Wimmer RS equips the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG with a KW coilover suspension, a set of 19-inch lightweight alloy rims, and MOV’IT ceramic brakes. And last but not least is the color palette of blue and green.

What is the idea of Volkswagen has been rumoring to work on 3-row crossover and Tiguan for US market only? For those who are not keeping up with our postings, VW Group is trying to get the “People’s Car” nickname so they are using all their resources to make any models that they can offer for the potential customers which in this case are the US market. The efforts that Das Auto is trying to do are copying other brands instead of selling what their customers really want which is vehicles that carry the original signature of Volkswagen.

Yes folks… that is what exactly what Das Auto is going to do: copy other brands instead of creating new vehicles with true signature of German vehicles. According to autoevolution.com, Das Auto is currently developing – smart choice of word, eh? – a 3-row crossover that s based on the Ford Explorer and Dodge Durango that are two of the best-selling crossover in US market. Can you guess which VW vehicle that used as the platform?

Volkswagen has chose the Passat as the base platform for their mysterious 3-crossover. Das Auto also already assigns their facility on Chattanooga – Tennessee or at the Mexico plants. More from this rumor which we think is approaching the truth that the 3-row crossover could be ended the Routan. The Routan model has been built on the same line as the Chrysler Town and Country. To close our article, VW Group also about to make the US version of the recently facelifted Tiguan to be less sporty and US customers-oriented.

Just so you know, Cars and Art is a German tuning house which means that they are what they are doing when they dropped the tuning kit for Porsche 911 Carrera 4S under the name of “Pretty Boy”. It is kind of weird to name the tuning kit like this, as our brain automatically thinking about Justin Bieber. Well, perhaps the “Pretty Boy” tuning kit from Cars and Art for 911 Carrera 4S is the German version of Justin Bieber in the form of sportscar.

The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is covered in the matter foil combination with the white as the main color and baby blue as the secondary color with some details. The details which we are talking about are the front and rear add-on elements that according to autoevolution.com are derived from GT3 version of the 911 Carrera 4S. If Justin Bieber is wearing expensive sneakers, Cars and Art granted the 911 with a set of 20-inch OZ Racing Ultraleggera HLT rims which Racing Gold finish and Dunlop Sport Maxx GT rubbers.

The engine on the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S stays the same, but Cars and Art added H&R suspension to bring this sportscar closer to the road by 35mm. To wake up the neighborhood with menacing sound engine, the 911 Carrera 4S equips with a new exhaust system which uses the valves to control the sound.

No need to as Volkswagen decided to separate the CC and continue with the Passat name. VW Group positioned the Passat Alltrack between the Passat Estate and the Tiguan crossover. Das Auto brags that the Passat Alltrack is the perfect blending of light off-road capabilities with many spaces inside and the bonus is good handling.

Volkswagen added a bit of height to the Passat Alltrack crossover and other cosmetic upgrades such as the new front and rear fascias and you just can’t miss that plastic wheel arch protection elements. The official introductory for the Volkswagen Passat Alltrack will be taken place at the Tokyo Motor Show and this pre-show unveiling is to answer some negative comments which referred that Das Auto would not drop any subcompact vehicle.

On the engine and performance part, the Volkswagen Passat Alltrack is available in two turbocharged of direct-injected petrol engines. One in the form of 1.8L TSI which delivers 160 horsepower and 2.0L TSI that offers 210 horsepower. The other engine options are two turbodiesels which namely the 140 and 170 ponies of the 2.0 TDI.

What is the problem with the BMW M135i? Well, just so you know, the Bavarian carmaker is trying the best they can to make their customer to like the basic 1-Series hatchback. Then, something hit them as they realize that the ordinary 1-Series is not appealing and not attractive enough, so they assign the M division to make the M135i to be sporty and bottom line, transforming one ordinary hatchback, into one sporty hot hatchback.

So, the BMW M135i has been scheduled for arrival on 2012 and the Bavarian carmaker is dying to convince us and their potential customers that this hatchback is something else. The something else here refers to the engine and performance which we believe it has the thing to do with the magical dust belongs to the M division on the BMW.

The confirmation over the engine for the M135i hatchback was announced during a recent BMW dealership presentation in Netherlands. According to autoevolution.com, the total power output carries by the M hatchback is 320 horsepower. This power will not be achieved without the help from the same-old N54 twin-turbo V6 3.0L engine which derived from the old 135i.

The original power was 306, and the fact that the Bavarian automaker managed to rise up to 320 ponies; we predicted that the BMW M135i is carrying additional power boost. Could it be the tri-turbo system? No official confirmation about it, but we know that the M135i will be equipped with stiffer suspension and a focused body kit which we all know that those are the signature from the M division.

Let’s start your day by looking at the new look of Audi A1 courtesy of Caractere. Unusual name, eh? Well, it is understandable as Caractere is tuning house and aftermarket specialist from Belgium; not German, UK, or Italy. It is kind of remind us one tuning house from Switzerland was playing with Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG. So, Caractere, what do you have for us as you dress the Audi A1 and transform the ordinary hatchback into one hot sporty hatch?

For the Audi A1 which we all know is the entry-level (read: affordable) hatchback model, Caractere provides lowering springs with multiple choices on the types of lightweight alloy rims. The one you see on the photos are the CW1 model with 18-inch size. Caractere only interested in working on the cosmetic part, which means that this 2011 model year of A1 hatchback still carries the same engine.

The engine we are talking about is the turbocharged with DOHC, direct-injected gasoline in-line four-cylinder with front-wheel drive. Audi assigns the 7-speed auto double-clutch manual transmission with console shifter for sport/competition modes to complete the engine and performance on the A1 hatchback.

Back to our main discussion on custom body kit for the Audi A1 by Caractere where the Belgian tuning house gives redesigned front fascia and chromed tailpipes to channel the massive engine sound. Last but not least is the spoiler on the lower hatch with a set of side element which intended to give the hatchback a bit of R8 supercar look. Unfortunately, the tuning kit from Caractere for Audi A1 is available for the non S-line models only.
