Bentley Continental GT coupe sedan is the idea of a pompous, overstated, and cutting-edge which is more suited for flamboyant millionaires and pop star than gentlemen racers. It did cross our mind, once or twice… or perhaps million times that what would it be if Bentley Continental GT gets more classy pack.

In this day and age, that doesn’t really matter though, and what really counts is offering stand-out features like LED lights and big chrome wheels. But what do you do when the standard car of Bentley Continental GT coupe sedan just isn’t good enough to impress your friends at the Gumball 3000?

Bentley hopes it has cracked that problem with a new range of styling options named Mulliner Styling Specification Classic Pack. The factory-fitted Bentley Continental GT coupe sedan cover a new front bumper splitter, strakes integrated into the front intake grilles, side extension blades and a rear diffuser, all which are made from high-gloss, black carbon-fiber, because nothing says “I’ve got money” like adding carbon-fiber to your car.

Bentley Continental GT coupe sedan also offers customers the option of specifying a new spoiler and door mirror cowls made of the same light-weight material, as well as black 21-inch ‘Elegant’ alloy wheels and dark mesh front wing vents with black carbon-fiber bezels.

“The Mulliner Styling Specification, with its sharper lines and darker, lower appearance subtly underscores the extrovert, flamboyant nature of our new Coupe. It delivers a more personalized, sportive interpretation of a luxurious, refined GT,” said Raul Pires, Bentley’s head of exterior design.

2011 Volkswagen Tiguan four-door crossover video commercial ads probably will show you who is the Boss when you are driving. Ask this question to yourself: how often does it happen which you end up with your wife or girlfriend beside you and a bunch of her bickering friends in the back, talking your ear off with talk of how men are the worst and their obsession over the cars is unfounded. Haven’t you ever wanted to… prove them wrong?

Well, this is exactly what Volkswagen’s new video commercial ads for the 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan four-door crossover is all about. The driver takes a right turn to nowhere, proving what the compact crossover is made of and getting his female occupants all sick, dirty and very annoyed. But… it’s all in his head, unfortunately. The facelifted version of the 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan four-door crossover you see in the video commercial ads was introduced back in May, being launched together with a number of improved safety and fuel economy aids. The 2.0-liter TDI with BlueMotion technology under the hood of 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan four-door crossover mages to be frisky and responsive, while achieving an impressive 5.3 liters per 100 km for the two front-wheel versions. The system shuts off the engine completely whenever possible in city driving thanks to a Stop/Start system.

The video commercial ads of 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan four-door crossover is aimed at the German market, where the Tiguan has just been introduced, while the rest of Europe will follow in August. European pricing will start at €24.175.

Meanwhile, the three diesel engines (TDI) cover a power range from 110 hp to 170 hp. Also available as an option on the new 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan four-door crossover is the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DSG).

For those who are not familiar with the “CRT” on the BMW M3 CRT saloon, it’s short for Carbon Racing Technologies. Yes… CRT sounds like the evil twin of Efficient Dynamics, and has transformed the BMW M3 CRT saloon into something even more special. Looking at the car, nothing makes sense: it looks like a regular 3-series with a different set of wheels and some tuning bits added.

BMW already makes the BMW M3 GTS, which is also about lightweight performance, and it’s only when you compare the two that you start to realize what the BMW M3 CRT saloon is all about. Unlike the stripped out coupe, the Carbon Racing Technologies on BMW M3 has navigation, a premium stereo system and four doors for easy access in the back.

The BMW M3 CRT saloon actually debut a new production technique for carbon fiber parts, a process which BMW used to great effect on the front seats, front air intakes, rear spoiler and a new hood that is as strong as a conventional steel unit with just one quarter the weight. Weight was also saved with the aid of a titanium muffler, 19-inch Y-spoke alloy wheels and less sound deadening material.

BMW M3 CRT saloon power source  comes not from the regular 4.0-liter V8, but from the 4.4-liter version of the same block, producing 450 hp at 8,300 rpm and 324 pound-feet of torque. The flood of horses is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and the BMW M3 CRT saloon can now reach the 100 km/h (62 mpg) mark in just 4.4 seconds, making the BMW M3 CRT saloon just as fast as the M5 without the use of turbos.

Audi R8 Spyder V10 in chromed which does 194 miles per hour and able to jump off topless at the touch of a button is going to be auctioned at Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish.

It’s hoped that this unique Audi R8 Spyder V10 in chromed will attract a bidder worthy of such a car at the auction that raises hundreds of thousands of pounds for the Elton John Aids Foundation (EJAF) annually.

“Sir Elton John’s fundraising ball really is a golden ticket event that is as glamorous as it is hugely effective in fundraising terms,” commented Jeremy Hicks, Director of Audi UK.  “We are delighted, and enormously proud, to support it for a ninth year with the donation of what is arguably our most fittingly glamorous model of Audi R8 Spyder V10 in chromed.”

The Audi R8 Spyder V10 in chromed features a fully-automatic lightweight fabric hood. The bling-mobile, combines the exceptional ten-cylinder, 525 hp petrol engine with manual transmission. The normal model is priced at £117,710 OTR, but there’s no telling what this one-off will go for.

Audi R8 Spyder V10 in chromed is part of the attraction of the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) which was established in 1993, and is amongst the 10 largest AIDS grant-making organizations in the world, currently managing over £14 million in programs across 15 countries supporting thousands of men, women and children with life-saving medication, as well as information, nutrition, education, shelter and support.  The White Tie & Tiara Ball, now in its 13th year, is the EJAF’s foremost fundraising event, and has been supported by Audi with special auction lots for the past eight years, and this year, Audi R8 Spyder V10 in chromed gets the honor to be part of the event.

Volkswagen Golf24 racing car invaded the Nurburgring. Volkswagen will bring a total of three Golf24 racers to this weekend’s Nurburgring endurance event in Germany. The 39 edition of the race coincides with the 35th anniversary of the Golf GTI, so the trio of Volkswagen Golf24 racing car is numbered in accordance: 35, 135 and 235.

Volkswagen Golf24 racing car at Nurburgirng 24 is nothing like GTI which has a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, the Volkswagen Golf24 racing car gets the same 2.5-liter that’s found under the bonnet of the Audi RS3 Sportback and the TT-RS. However, the endurance racer boasts an impressive 450 horsepower that’s sent to the road via an all-wheel drive system and a -speed gearbox. In addition to the Volkswagen Golf24 racing car, Volkswagen is also to field two Volkswagen Scirocco  GT24 CNGs.

Audi A4 Cabrio coupe is June tuning project by Sport Wheels.  Sport Wheels, the German aftermarket developer just released a modification kit for the Audi A4 Cabrio coupe, a vehicle which has been M.I.A – missing in action – on the market since 2008.

The Sport Wheels played with the 2.0-liter TFSI unit on the Audi A4 Cabrio coupe (this engine is borrowed from the VW Golf GTI MK V), which delivers 200 hp and 280 Nm of torque when it leaves the factory. The unit has received a new exhaust system that comes with four stainless steel pipes, each measuring 83 mm in diameter, as well as an ECU remap.

Wondering the result of the tech play on the Audi A4 Cabrio coupe? The powerplant on the Audi A4 Cabrio coupe now delivers 250 hp and a peak torque of 372 Nm. So, this is not the most extreme 2.0 TFSI kit on the market, but it still manages to bring a respectable output increase. Unfortunately, the company hasn’t offered the new performance specs.

The Audi A4 Cabrio coupe should be able handle the extra power and torque just fine, as the tuner has also tweaked its connection to the road. Sport Wheels turned to KW, installing the Variant 3 suspension.

Audi A4 Cabrio coupe  by Sport Wheels got a set of Eta Beta Tettsut X-ceramic alloy wheels that come in a 20-inch size, use a five-spoke design and are wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx GT rubber. The tires use a 245/30 size, offering a high level of grip for Audi A4 Cabrio coupe.

Porsche has been busy with the 2012 Porsche 911 which expected to be unveiled in Frankfurt this September. Unlike the Italian car manufacturers which are constantly trying to change the game, Porsche has had a number of decades to make everything just right. We refer Porsche’s efforts as “consistency”.

We know that Porsche will try to keep things clean and pure, and won’t be using KERS to burden the 911 unnecessarily with fuel-saving tech. It won’t be radical, it won’t be groundbreaking, but it will definitely impress. Our contributor has managed to scoop up a bit of info regarding the model that suggests Porsche engineers have turned to the past in order to make the technologically advanced 911 look like it belongs in the present. Citing reports straight out of Germany, they suggest that the 2012 Porsche 911 model will ditch the retractable glass roof and adopt a more traditional removable roof for the Targa model.

In addition, the Porsche Targa model will get a prominent rear pillar and new glass behind it. We’re not sure the report can be trusted, and that Porsche would “inconvenience” its clients with manual labor, but a true Targa will bring back a lot of fans, so a limited-edition looks highly probable right now.

The Porsche Targa roof was introduced in 1966 on the 911, and while similar configurations existed before, it was Porsche that coined the new name. Porsche replaced the lift-off roof panel with a sliding glass in 1996, a design that has been kept to this day, but true fans still don’t consider this to be a true successor.

Porsche does not confirm if a removable roof is coming or not, it’s still some years away, so we’ll have to make due with a nice Porsche coupe that should arrive soon.

2011 BMW Z4 All Wheel Drive for BMW Z2 Drive Roadster

BMW Z2 roadster has not been revealed the concept yet, but we just can’t help not to bring this issue to you. You would think the hardcore rear-wheel drive carmakers like BMW would have no trouble making a RWD sports car really attractive, but it seems that this isn’t really the case. It looks like the Bavarians have a compact model on the way and it will reportedly put its power down using all four corners.

According to our buddies at CAR Magazine, the entry-level roadster will take on the likes of the Miata and its main selling point will be the price tag for BMW which they are planning on the BMW Z2 roadster. We don’t really agree with the idea, as all-wheel drive cars always handle differently from RWD ones and the Mazda is already one of the best handling cars on the market today. However, we do agree that BMW has a problem when it comes to making affordable roadsters and it always has.

BMW’s Chairman is reportedly on board with the idea of using the architecture of the next-generation MINI for the BMW Z2 roadster and the project seems like a good idea, given the fact that the Group will save money if they use the same architecture.

The main problem we foresee is that cars like this – BMW Z2 roadster – should be designed with the heart, not on a budget. While dreaming up a new body for an existing SUV platform, or adding a boot to a four-door might work, sports cars need to be light and purposeful and can’t really be budget-minded.

BMW Z2 roadster will likely use BMW’s new 2.0-liter turbocharged engines or the 1.6-liter from the new 1-Series. Diesel powertrains are also part of the plan, but its all speculation until we can figure out where the chassis will be sourced from. What is a certainty is that the BMW Z2 roadster will end up hitting the market as a roadster first and a coupe later.
